Meet Our Founder
Steph Fuentes
Founder & CEOSteph Fuentes is a Miami-born artist and the founder of QueerCard. She began her career as a classically trained dancer in New York. When the pandemic paused dance, she transitioned into creative direction and spent the next several years working closely with the queer community, where she learned a lot about business how to build, grow, and run one.
She always knew she wanted to create something of her own. The idea for QueerCard came after seeing a video where someone joked about getting a discount for Pride, which made her start thinking what if that actually existed? From there, the idea stayed with her.
At the same time, she noticed that many local businesses want to participate in Pride or show their support, but don’t always know how to do that in a way that makes sense for their business. QueerCard was created as a way to make that easier giving businesses a simple way to participate, while giving people a clear way to support them.
This is the first season of QueerCard, starting in a few cities, with plans to continue growing each year.
